Maybe you are having a permission error, cms cannot create thumbnails.
You give us cms admin information to check detailed errors.

Try to check for the latest error file for me.
And send it to us to see. At the moment we have debugs both locally and demo site still no media problem so it's hard to know what problem you are having.

Here also only shows error about permission of lang file. You try once again to set the correct permissions for the laravel project. If it still doesn't work then we need your server access.

You just need to give us the ssh server information

I fixed using command 

php artisan storage:link

We also fixed the permissions for you, especially never use the root user for php, and chmod 777.
I have set it to user nginx (www-data) and disabled 777

After checking for stability, change your access information such as SSH, admin , etc.
